CETPartnership pools national and regional RDTI funding from across Europe to accelerate the clean energy transition, with the 2050 climate-neutrality target as our shared horizon.

The CETPartnership is an initiative supported by the European Union that mobilises public and private stakeholders in the research and innovation ecosystems, from European and non-European countries and regions.

Our work is guided by the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), co-created with member countries, the EU SET-Plan Implementation Working Groups, ETIPs and energy-related ERA-Nets. The SRIA was endorsed by the European Commission in November 2020.

The SRIA articulates the common goals of CETP:

  • Building innovation ecosystems that support capacity building at all levels
  • Developing and demonstrating technology and solutions for the transition of energy systems
  • Building a transnational transformative Joint Programming Platform
