CM2024-02 Energy system flexibility: renewables production, storage & system integration

TRI 1 and TRI 2, for the second year in a row, confirm the cooperation with the Green Powered Future Mission (GPFM) of Mission Innovation for this joint Call Module to bring the contribution of CETPartnership at a global level and to give a global dimension to funded projects, which will benefit from work and exchange with project partners from different world regions.

This joint Call Module addresses key aspects of the clean energy transition ranging from large-scale integration of renewable energy sources into the power grids, considering storage as a possible solution to deal with their intermittent nature, to broad technological and market aspects as well as approaches towards system integration. Moreover, digitalisation and standardisation, being key enablers for the deployment of innovative system flexibility solutions, need to be duly considered by the submitted proposed projects.
