Last year, two joint workshops were held by Transition Initiative 3 Enabling Climate Neutrality with Storage Technologies, Renewable Fuels and CCU/CCS and Transition Initiative 6 Integrated Industrial Energy Systems that culminated in the creation of crucial market shaping activity plans and RDI needs for Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCU/S) within the industry.

A workshop for Northern Europe was held in December 2023, followed by one for Southern Europe in May 2024. This methodology allowed for the consideration of specific geographical conditions and locally relevant industries.
