Call Module 2025-04: Carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS)

For this Call Module, funding will be available for research and innovation projects targeting the accelerated development of CCUS technology. Funded projects are expected to pave the way for climate neutrality and contribute to significant CO2 emissions reductions by the deployment of CCUS in the 2030s.

The aim for this call module is to contribute to global decarbonisation efforts by accelerating the development and implementation of CCUS technologies by supporting targeted research and innovation activities to reduce costs and implement CCUS at an industrial scale

The call module targets projects that will end at TRL5 or higher. Activities at lower TRL may be included if they contribute to the higher TRL goal of the overall project. Key target groups are research organisations, higher education establishments, and industrial stakeholders.
