Brine Utilisation for CO2 to be ‘Koncretely’ Sequestered, Solidified and Stored

The project goal is to evolve ongoing activities to optimise CCU technology (CO2-mineralisation) and optimise relevant sourcing and use of the added-value products generated; all assisted by digitisation and computational modelling of the entire process.

Identification of the effect of hydrogen as a function of structural condition in pipeline distribution infrastructure and storage tanks

The project aims to increase the use of environmentally neutral hydrogen in hydrogen mixtures in existing transportation and storage facilities used for natural gas and to describe the effect of previous processing history and surface treatments of the used materials on degradation in a hydrogen environment.

The HYBRID WIND consortium assembles the best European academic expertise in diagnosis and prognosis for failure detection together with world-leading software manufacturer and European companies who are eager to exploit these newly developed tools within the wind energy sector. Experts from 11 entities from 4 countries are representing the service providers and WT operators, thus ensuring special focus on market reach.

Low Cost Molten Salt Thermal Energy Storage for Industrial Processes

LoCoMoSa aims to demonstrate a cost-reduced medium- to long-duration thermal energy storage system based on molten salt to deliver industrial heat at 120-450 °C.
