Become a CETPartnership Evaluation Expert

Contact us

Independent experts play an important role in CETPartnership by helping to assess project proposals submitted to the Joint Calls. Their knowledge and experience contribute to a fair, transparent, and high-quality evaluation process, ensuring that the most promising projects receive support and funding.

Joining the Expert Pool

CETPartnership brings together experts from across Europe and beyond to evaluate proposals in a wide range of areas related to the clean energy transition. Experts are identified and nominated through the CETPartnership network, including Funding Partners and Transition Initiatives (TRIs).

If you are interested in contributing as an evaluator, we encourage you to contact the relevant Funding Partner in your country or the TRI that best matches your area of expertise. Once nominated, your profile may be included in the CETPartnership expert database and considered for future evaluation assignments.

Eligibility Requirements

Experts are selected based on their professional knowledge and experience in fields relevant to clean energy transition. To maintain the integrity of the evaluation process, all experts must remain independent and free from conflicts of interest. Individuals involved in proposals under evaluation, or in activities that could compromise their impartiality, are not eligible to participate.

Evaluation Assignments

CETPartnership launches Joint Calls on a regular basis and appoints experts according to the needs of each call. When a new call opens, selected experts may be invited to assess proposals within their field of expertise.

Invited experts receive detailed information about the call, including evaluation criteria, procedures, timelines, and practical arrangements. All assessments are conducted in accordance with established principles of fairness, confidentiality, transparency, and equal treatment.

Diversity and Inclusion

CETPartnership is committed to building a diverse and inclusive community of experts. We welcome qualified candidates from different countries, sectors, backgrounds, and career stages. A broad range of perspectives strengthens the quality of the evaluation process and contributes to balanced and well-informed assessments.

As part of this commitment, CETPartnership actively supports the European Union’s goal of achieving greater gender balance and equal representation within expert panels.

By joining the CETPartnership expert community, you can contribute to shaping innovative solutions and supporting the transition towards a sustainable and climate-neutral energy future.
